Description:

Perhaps the best migrant passerine spot in Orange County, the east side of Huntington Central Park East has a lot of trees and lawn areas. Typical birds at Huntington Beach Central Park East include Hawks, Woodpeckers, Flycatchers, Sparrows, Vireos, Swallows, Warblers, Phoebes.

Meet: We will depart from the Whittier Community Center at the SE corner of Mar Vista and Washington Ave. at 7:00 AM. If you would like to meet at the Park meet at 8:00 AM in the Slater Parking Lot.

Bring: Binoculars, hats, sunscreen, water, lunch, chairs, boots etc. Plan to walk up to 2 miles on flat paved roads or uneven grass areas.
