Description:

Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve protects over 9,000 acres of Engelmann oak woodlands, vernal pools, and chaparral, hosting more than 200 native bird species.

Meet: We will depart from the Whittier Community Center at the SE corner of Mar Vista and Washington Ave. at 7:00 am.

Bring: Bring binoculars, a scope if you have one, and lunch and water.
