Sycamore Canyon on Saturday Mornings

Sycamore Canyon (Whittier Hills at Workman Mill Road)

For 2011-2012, we are now leading easy, beginner birdwalks once a month on Saturday mornings in our own backyard at Sycamore Canyon. These will be leisurely walks through our Whittier Hills along the trail starting at the Workman Mill Road trail head. We will start bright and early at 7:00 a.m. in September, October, May and June. The rest of the months we will start at 8:00 a.m.. The walk starts off from the parking lot at the Sycamore Canyon trailhead on Workman Mill Road just above Beverly Blvd. Rain cancels. Be prepared for a 2-4 hour easy walk looking for all of our local specialties. The dates are:
